I need your experience. We have set up a wifi network at home using several powerline adapters with the same SSID. However, my device remains in a WiFi network even if the reception becomes so weak that it switches to 4g. It then does not use the stronger signal in the vicinity but reconnects to the weak signal. The only workaround is to switch the wifi off and on again in the device. Then it uses the stronger signal. What are your experiences with mesh networks?
GOS behavior in mesh networks
which Phone?
Had the same problem on a 4a,
but no longer on the 8
dirksche did you try to set "per network randomized MAC" ?
Networks -> select your network -> privacy
CyberOtter Yes I did. No changes
Having been through a world of pain with my mesh WiFi set up, are you absolutely certain that your other devices work correctly? It may not be an issue with the phone at all.

@CyberOtter this should be completely unrelated. Its the phone actively searching for other networks while already connected and automatically connecting to a different one.
A wild guess would be to try turn on Wifi-search under location settings?
missing-root per-connection mac can "spam" the router & cause DHCP issues...
Yup, set it to per network on trusted networks
missing-root I turned this off. But it is worth a try.
