Final Android version for legacy Pixels?

A few months ago I remember there was a statement in the Releases page that 4, 4XL and 4a could receive upgrades to Android 14. It was something along the lines of no existing developers will be given the task, but new developers might be tasked with the job. Seems that it has since been removed from the page and no Android 14 has been pushed to the devices mentioned above.

So is 13 the last major Android version for Pixels 4, 4XL and 4a?
On the same note, is Android 14 the last major Android version for Pixels 4a (5G) and 5?

Yeah I do remember that. Perhaps the developers are too busy with other stuff, like newer devices.
Maybe try CalyxOS as alternative, they provide extended support for 4th series until August and already upgraded to Android14.
