PMUSR I wonder if next Pixel 9 phone will have any new HW security features that I should wait for instead of getting the Pixel 8?

I believe some people (who work for Google) know, but they aren't saying. Maybe the 9 series will be all about "AI"... or Wi-Fi 11... or satellite calling... or quantum brain scanning...

It's still January The 8a isn't out yet.

@Croak3114 and @ve3jlg all I meant by what I said was that when you enable it, it may cause performance issues or app crashes, thus resulting in decreased overall compatibility with apps. I never said it was a bad feature.

Crashes to my knowledge mean that it detected a buffer overflow. In this case you actually want it to crash in order to have a potential exploit attempt mitigated.
