Emergency Call: Video and Location sharing

It seems like Google's emergency calling feature addresses pain points that I have been vocal about for approximately the last 10 years:

For the longest time if you were alone you could decide if you want to record a video to preserve evidence. Or interrupting the video to call emergency services. You couldn't do both.
Now in what I would call a game changer there is an option to automatically video record during an emergency (screenshot).
To make this feature even more perfect there is a possibility to automatically backup the video in case your phone gets taken from you. It's debatable where it should be backuped to, but the feature is useful.
I don't want to test the emergency function on my GrapheneOS for obvious reasons, but I think this option is missing with Graphene. Why?
There seems to be also a function to automatically text your exact location in an emergency. In my mind before this feature I would have to manually during the emergency look up my position in an app. Wait until the phone has a GPS lock, wait until the phone has loaded the street names, zoom in enough to read them. Then develop a plan in my head how to describe exactly where I am e.g. "at the intersection of street x and street y" or "I am in park X in the north west most part of the eastern half of where the freeway cuts the park in half", and only then to start the emergency call and then be lucid enough to accurately relay to position in a call. It would be sooo much better in an emergency situation if it could just text the GPS coordinates as soon as it had a lock.
It seems that feature is also not in GrapheOS.

Those two features seem so important to me I am considering changing OS just to get them. Is there any way to get this in GrapheneOS?

@aguttfx Apologies for taking a while to get to this thread.

If the features in question are present in the Stock OS, they're likely features that require privileged integration for Google software, which is something that is very difficult to provide in GrapheneOS, and goes against the idea of not giving privileged access to 3rd parties.

I am not saying that the features in question cannot be useful, but that there is currently no clear path to implementing them in GrapheneOS.

I have tried to set up Google's Personal Safety app but cannot get beyond the point of adding an emergency contact without the app crashing. Based on the crash log, I think matchboxbananasynergy is right in that it does require privileged access.

java.lang.SecurityException: Neither user 10151 nor current process has android.permission.MODIFY_PHONE_STATE.
