Hi there!
I was about to write a comment about Telegram crashing at setup. It kept crashing while entering the phone number, more precisely after I selected the country. Not selecting the country but putting in the country code manually worked for me.

I don't even get login OTP through SMS on GrapheneOS. It just says OTP was sent to your other device when the fact is, I am not logged in to any other device. And there is no option to receive OTP through SMS or call. Funny part is, if I go back to stock Pixel UI and lock the bootloader, Telegram again starts sending login SMS to my phone.

Do you have an other phone? Put your Sim-Card in this device and install Telegram. Then install it on your Pixel and use the OTP you received on your other phone. That's basically what I did.
