Vanadium protects your data from being leaked far better than the Tor Browser where you can leak a lot via side channels including leaking data across sites, and that certainly can be used for fingerprinting even though it's more severe than that.
Vanadium doesn't disable or normalize some things that the Tor Browser or Brave do, but at the same time it addresses things they don't, especially the Tor Browser. We don't say it has better fingerprinting protection, the majority of browsers don't have viable or robust fingerprinting mitigation.
You can't use a niche browser if you want anti-fingerprinting and all of them can have lots of hardware / OS info leaked via timing.
Tor Browser does have it's own special mitigations but again the main idea beyond the actual routing is again to blend in with other Tor Browser users. However Tor Browser still tends to do things better on Desktop than on Android.
