Hey, GrapheneOS noob here. I've been looking into improving privacy on my phone, and I'm wondering about the privacy on dumbed down iOS compared Graphene.
If I were to be using iOS, I would probably delete most non-essential apps that could be deleted, and instead use open source alternatives. Instead of using iCloud, I would be using Proton mail/drive/calendar, etc. I would also use a private browser and search engine (i.e. Firefox and DuckDuckGo). So, besides having an Apple ID for downloading apps and maybe Apple Music or something, I guess the amount of data Apple could collect about me would be quite limited (?).
The reason I'm wondering about this is because of other devices in the ecosystem, I might end up using macOS since quite a few programs I need aren't on Linux and I don't want to try and run them on Wine or something. Anyways, it would be great to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks :)
