Duolingo not running in Vanadium

Since the update to version 120.0.6099.193.0 Duolingo can no longer be opened in the Vanadium; the following error message appears:

Sorry, your browser version is not supported. Please use the latest version of one of the following browsers:
Google Chrome
Apple Safari
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Edge

Anyone facing the same problem?

Don't know if updating to the latest version of Vanadium will solve the problem as 120.0.6099.210.0 isn't available for me yet.

I have installed another Browser (Brave) just to try it out, Duolingo runs here without any problems.

For some reason duolingo.com very recently started requiring JavaScript JIT to be enabled for their site. It's annoying that sites do this, but you can enable JIT by tapping the controls icon to the left of the URL, and then enabling the toggle in permissions. After you've done that make sure to re-open duolingo.com manually, rather than refreshing the webpage with the error message. Duolingo should then work as before in Vanadium.

A short follow-up question, if I may.

What would be more advisable from a security and privacy standpoint?

A) use Duolingo on website with JIT enabled or
B) install the Duolingo App in a separate profile where Google services are running anyway?

I instinctively tend towards A).

A small update for users of Duolingo via their website: Changes seem to have been made: Currently, Duolingo's website no longer seems to require JavaScript JIT. I have blocked it in permissions and Duolingo is still running.

Update: It looks like something has been changed again. Since a few days Java Script JIT has to be activated again if you want to use Duolingo in Vanadium ( using version 126.0.6478.122.2 in time of writing).

Murcielago It's because in a recent Vanadium update a change made by Chromium was reverted where JIT wasn't completely turned off to prevent WASM from breaking. Chromium might accept a patch from Microsoft adding a WASM interpreter to Chromium so WASM (which currently requires JIT) works when JIT is off, just slower (which most sites aren't visibly affected by).
