Why do Graphene include Android Easter Egg app?

As title states, why is this one included and what does this easteregg app do?
Anyone knows?

JayJay the latest one is a simple spaceship game where you can fly to different planets and land on them. I'm not sure if there's a way to "win" I found all of them and nothing happened.

You can actually launch it using this kind of launcher app. Not sure how to launch it another way. It's actually kind of fun I think.

I was intrigued yesterday by this topic. I found you press and hold down the middle picture. The stars will speed up in the background and game will open.
