In Android, there is a permanent touch hint in the form of a white horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen, to indicate you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen. After the first 10 seconds, you know how it works and it just takes up space. That's why some people call it the grandma bar.
On some ROMs, for example LineageOS, on the page for touch settings, you can disable the "touch hint" (note that I forgot the actual name) and save yourself some screen space. It makes everything look leaner and cleaner, and is especially useful for web browsing and ebook reading.
Can we remove this bar on GrapheneOS as well?
