VoWi-Fi works perfectly on my Pixel 8 with T-Mobile. Call quality more or less equal to Lte. Is it worth? Is it more private/secure?

It's just as insecure as regular carrier-based phone calls and messages. While VoWiFi / VoLTE is encrypted from the cell phone to the network, anyone having administrative access to ISP routers (or hackers) can listen to calls and spoof the calling/called parties.

Titan_M2 Thanks a lot. I forgot to mention that I use VPN (Mullvad), however I get the point. One more question: I suppose a carrier is unable to triangulate my position when I use VoWi-Fi with Airplane mode on. Am I right? My point is that it is currently necessary for me to (also) use regular calls and SMSs and in this situation it might be slightly more private to use VoWi-Fi in Airplane mode.

You would prevent cell tower triangulation, but you'd be sharing your WiFi IP address with your mobile carrier: WiFi calling is not routed through the VPN tunnel.

If you're always going to be using airplane mode with WiFi, you could consider opting for a VoIP provider for the times when you need to make carrier-based calls.
