vibration and haptic feedback is gone

From one day to the next, these are gone. No more vibration when I type on the keyboard or select a text or link or change and press one of the navigation buttons.

In Settings, "Vibration and Haptics" are enabled as well as "touch feedback". I am not in Do Not Disturb mode either.

DeletedUser28 When the screen has locked and it's blank, if you tap the power button and then press and hold on the fingerprint-reader icon, does it do a haptic click? If you receive an SMS message, does it vibrate?

In the Accessibility settings, under Vibration and Haptics, are the various sliders all to the right?

Good idea. The fingerprint reader gives haptic feedback. I dont get vibration for notifications (didn't check SMS specifically as I rarely get them). In Accessibility > Vibration and Haptics its all enabled (slider on the right)

I actually solved this now by disabling and again enabling Vibration in the settings (the first item in the settings menu). Very strange. But it seems to work now!
