After trying the app, the communication ended with an error in step 3.
Step 1: Enter and accept vehicle registration plate information
Step 2: eID (elektronischer Personalausweis) verification
Step 3: Download vehicle registration data

Created support ticket and got the answer: GrapheneOS not supported.
Tried using business level and private level. iKfz depends on NFC (reading the eID). i-Kfz contains code from "Ausweis App" (German app reading NFC information on your ID card). Therefore there is no need to install "Ausweis App" (which is working on the phone for any possible use so far).
